A Psalm for Today: Psalms 17:11

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. Psalms 17:15

Those who love His appearing long to see Him face to face. We see through a glass darkly, but one day we will see Him face to face and will know even as we have been known. If we are born again, we have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and we are in process of being conformed to His image. He is able to cause all things to work together for our good because we love Him and are called according to His purpose. The scripture did not say that He caused all things, but He causes everything to work for our good. In other words, everything that comes into our lives God takes and brings redemptive purpose whether the devil caused it, it was caused by our own stupidity, or God caused it. He uses these things in producing the character and image of His son and we can be confident that He will complete the work that He has begun in us. One day when we awaken in His presence we will be in His likeness and we will finally be completely satisfied with who we are.
