A Psalm Today: Psalms 28:6

Psalms 28:6 Blessed be the Lord because He has heard the voice of my supplications!

The ear of the Lord is attentive to the prayer of His children. David experienced great difficulty along away and many times we see him crying out to the Father. He often followed that with a declaration and praise. 1 John 5:14,15 says "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us..., whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions we asked of Him." David knew that if the Lord heard His prayer He would answer. We, too, as God's anointed children can have that confidence as well. The key is praying His will. It is not praying some frivolous prayer trying to get something that we can consume upon our own lust, but it is what is in His heart. His heart is to deliver us from the evil one even as Jesus said to pray in the model prayer along with provision, forgiveness, the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit that is found in the kingdom. We can pray these things with confidence for they are His will. If He hears, He answers
