The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Psalms 25:14
The fear of the Lord is defined as hating evil in the Old Testament. Some consider the fear of the Lord to be an awesome respect. I like to define the fear of the Lord as rejecting anything that hinders our intimacy with God. God can trust those who walk in the fear of the Lord with revelation. He reveals His secrets to those who have an intimate relationship with Him. His covenant is available to us by virtue of our faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The covenant is between the Father and the Son and we enter this covenant by virtue of our position in Christ. The Lord reveals Himself to those who will reveal Him.
