A Psalm for Today: Psalms 47:2,3
For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. He will subdue the people under us and the nations under our feet.

Our God is an awesome God. His kingdom is eternal and it is ever advancing in this earth. The stone cut out without hands that crushed the other kingdoms is ,of course, the kingdom of God. It becomes a mountain which fills the whole earth. Jesus ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule and authority where he remains until all enemies are placed under His feet. (Ephesians 1 and Hebrews 10:13) The Lord reigns in the hearts of those who have received Him as their Lord. As we look at the turmoil in the earth you might be tempted to ask, " Is He reigning?" Absolutely, there will be day when all things are set aright. Wickedness is exposed that it might be destroyed. Nothing escapes His notice. The whole earth will be filled with the experiential knowledge of the glory of the Lord even as the waters cover the sea.
